Beyond Academics

Co-Curricular Life at School

School Events & Competitions

School events and competitions play a vital role in shaping well-rounded individuals. Through sports days, cultural festivals, academic contests, and inter-house competitions, students create lasting memories and forge strong bonds of friendship with their peers. These experiences teach far more than the rulebook of any game — they build teamwork, school spirit, and a sense of belonging.

Equally important is what students learn about themselves along the way. Celebrating victories with humility and accepting losses with grace are lessons that shape character for life. By participating wholeheartedly — win or lose — students develop resilience, sportsmanship, and the confidence to face challenges both on and off the field.

•  Skills built: teamwork, communication, leadership, and school spirit

•  Character values: sportsmanship, humility in victory, and resilience in defeat

•  Outcome: lasting friendships and memories that extend well beyond school years

Sports

Our sports programme encourages every student to stay active, build fitness, and discover the joy of teamwork and healthy competition. Games periods are included in the time table for all grades. From inter-house tournaments to inter-school events, students have the opportunity to train, compete, and represent the school across a wide range of disciplines. The school Annual Sports Day is an important event of the school.

Beyond physical fitness, sport teaches discipline, perseverance, and collaboration — values that carry students well beyond the playing field. Qualified Sports Teachers and well-equipped facilities ensure every child, from beginner to advanced athlete, has the support to grow and excel.

•  Disciplines: athletics, football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and more

•  Skills built: fitness, discipline, teamwork, and leadership on and off the field

•  Opportunities: house tournaments, inter-school fixtures, and district/state-level competitions

Visual & Performing Arts

Music, Art, Dance & Theatre

The arts give students a powerful outlet for self-expression, imagination, and creativity. Through music, art, dance, and theatre, students explore new forms of expression, build confidence, and discover talents that often become lifelong passions.

From learning an instrument to painting, choreography, or stepping onto the stage in a school play, students are encouraged to take creative risks in a supportive environment. Annual showcases, concerts, and performances give every child the opportunity to shine and share their talents with the school community.

•  Music: vocal and instrumental training, choirs, bands, and ensembles

•  Art: drawing, painting, and mixed-media exploration

•  Dance:  contemporary, and folk styles, performed at school events and competitions

•  Theatre: acting, stagecraft, and public performance through school productions

•  Outcome: confidence, creativity, and self-expression nurtured through regular showcases and performances
